Dara is a 2024 and 2023 SOVAS VOICE ARTS AWARDS NOMINEE and a 2024 ONE VOICE AWARDS NOMINEE.

Growing up in New Jersey, Dara discovered her passion for acting, music and storytelling at a very young age. She performed in all her high school theater and music programs, and on weekends and summer breaks Dara would take the train from New Jersey into New York City, where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute Teenage Program. She continued her acting training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, HB Studios, Circle In The Square and Playhouse West. In addition, she studied Singing and Songwriting, Improvisation and Shakespeare.

Through all of her diverse experience it became a natural progression for her find her love and passion in voice acting.

Dara is a versatile voice actress with a captivating textured voice that is well suited for Commercials, Promos, Trailers, Narration, Animation, Video Games and Looping as well as Educational/Instructional Narration. Dara’s reads fall seamlessly and effortlessly from the page to the microphone as they animate the words to their meaning.

In addition to her Voice Acting work, Dara is also an accomplished Singer and Songwriter having worked in Musical Theater, Recordings with Major Recording Artists and performing in clubs around the country and in Japan as well as having her original songs being placed in several Film and TV productions.

Dara always looks forward to helping Clients enhance their projects by bringing her own unique voice, perspective and personality while taking direction with speed and ease.
